Annual Meeting

May 21, 2009

Dear SCOA & SCAOE Members

The Program Committee for the 2009 South Carolina Orthopaedic Association & South Carolina Association of Orthopaedic Executives Annual Meeting is extremely pleased to release the preliminary program for the event taking place August 6-9 at The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island.  The two associations will be meeting together again this year.  We have planned a joint session on Friday morning, August 7th and then breakout sessions for each respective association the rest of the day on Friday.  The physician meeting extends to Saturday and Saturday night and SCAOE Members are encouraged to participate in the entire meeting if they would like.

Attached are the program, housing instructions, and registration form.  Please note that there are less expensive Villa accommodations for attendees who prefer.  Please ask the hotel for availability on the Villa accommodations.

As you will see from the program, we are continuing our tradition of providing stimulating educational content in a world class destination.  We hope you will consider bringing your family and spending an entire weekend as we celebrate our orthopaedic family in South Carolina.

The hotel is ready to accept your room reservations and of course the organization is ready to accept your meeting registrations.  Please note: members of the South Carolina Association of Orthopaedic Executives can attend the meeting for fee as part of their membership in the organization.  Administrators who are not members of the SCAOE will be charged a non-member registration fee of $150 (equal to membership dues).

Thank you very much for your participation.  A hard copy of the program will be mailed in the coming days.  We look forward to seeing you in Kiawah.

Sincerely,
Fraser Cobbe
