AMA releases survey results on physicians’ experience with PQRI.

An online survey conducted by the American Medical Association (AMA) in September sought information on physicians’ experiences with the first year of Medicare’s Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI). Based on an analysis of responses, the AMA suggests that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) should place greater emphasis on early education and feedback so that more physicians can be participate in the program with confidence.
